This artist is very different and unique than the previous artist that we were shown today. Her interest was in the military and the structure of how it was run. She explains that she was interested in how the military was run and after the Vietnam War, she wanted to expose what war and the military side was all about. She traveled to various military demonstrations and reenactments to show a point of view of war that most people are not exposed to and through her photographs, she captures the and leaves rooms for personal interpretation of what is going on in the photograph. Le is not opposed to war but she feels as though there should be an alternative to war for the hardships of the men and women that go into to military is tremendous and should not have to happen anymore.
